Hello CalGuns, planning on turning in my CCW application tomorrow but I have two questions. In the application it states to list any moving violations in the past 5 years. I received a running a red light ticket in Nov 2019 by a officer and a speeding ticket 44 in a 25 in August 2021. The red light ticket was reduced to a no point violation and the speeding ticket is still pending as I recently received it in the last 2 weeks. Should I still list them on my application? Other than that I have a clean driving and criminal record

No you should not. All you will get is the generic "You will be contacted when your file has been assigned to an investigator." They will get to you when they get it to you.

Read through about 20% of them and I'm sure you can find something in your life that will fit.

If not, full send. There's 5,000 applications in queue right now with 7 deputies working the process, so your interview date wont probably be until April of 2022. By then, maybe you'll have a new good cause you can talk/write about.

You can change your good cause between now and interview date.

I feel like I'm in my FB groups for cars and such... No one wants to search for anything themselves and want the answers given to them lol. If they can't sit there and do their own work, read Paladins advice, etc. I don't think they should have a CCW because of the lack of effort they're willing to put in to get one.

This also means they won't bother bleaching their ***holes or shaving their *** either ����*♂️��

Yo does the license state the color of the firearm in the list on the back? I qualified with my P365 and there’s no color stated on the qual sheet, but want to be sure if I buy a coyote slide/grip module and change it out that I won’t be stuck with that color once it’s on the license.

It does not state the color on the license. The qualifying sheet from LASD doesn’t either however my training certificate does have the color stated. Are the training certificates different depending on which class you took?

It should not matter as long as serial number and caliber match
