Flood gates opened 1st/2nd week of April when Lord Paladin changed LA County to LG.


1st Week of June is looking like 21 weeks for an interview at the current pace.

However, it looks like LASD added an other staffer for pick ups. So slowly but surely they are defeating the long wait times.

April was a big month for LG GCs

I submitted my app back in December and picked the permit up in the beginning of March. I can only imagine the number of apps they have now based on the time at each step. A friend of mine had his interview a few weeks ago and is still waiting to hear back regarding live scan. For reference it took less than a week after my interview to hear back. I imagine they have to switch to permitium or something similar soon or no one will be getting permits just due to the backlog.

Pretty sure they just put your application on the bottom of the pile for bothering them.

We still have guys who submitted 4/6-4/12 who are waiting for interviews.
I don't think they'll start 3rd week of April submittals for another 2 weeks, at least.

I wonder if you just showed up to a station and ask to be put on "stand by" for CCW interviews...if the deputies would entertain. lol.
