Now to wait for email to proceed with training. Will update.

I dropped mine off at the station instead of mailing on the same date as yours, however I got my interview may 11th. Times vary it seems, especially now with the large influx of applications.

I don’t think they keep applications in order of when they receive them. It’s just in a pile and the supervisor grabs (say around 50) and assigned them to an investigator. Just Like how the DB is run and cases are assigned, how background investigators are assigned LE candidates, etc.

It took forever for LAPD to authorize Glock until our new chief from NY city wanted so bad for himself. Bureaucrats really don't think like average people, because everything runs around their personal needs first.

I left early due to a serious spine injury from on-duty TC by an ILLEGAL ALIEN. I have no love for bureaucrats. I just worry about my fellow brothers and sisters at work.

Just got my call for the interview! I was literally debating on submitting another application this week thinking my application never made it through to the hall of justice from the local station I dropped it off at.

Submittied application in person at local station 3-24
                                Called for interview 5-17
