8 hour: 4/16. Upload same day pay final fee 4/17.

Ive seen some people have taken the 8hr class before approval email, what places can i go that allow before approval email?

PWG Site says after approval, but they don't check, don't ask!
But it is on you though! It's only good for 90 days! And if you don't get
approved by then, you'll have to take the class again!
Approvals seem to be running a little less than 90 days, so if you
take the class after 60 days from your Interview date you should be good!
I'll say again, IT'S ON YOU! If you don't get approved, then you just
wasted $200 + ammo...That's why they suggest to wait!

Has there been a change in Permitium? When I log in to try to move my interview date forward the schedule starts at Oct 3, 2023, no earlier dates. I've been trying for weeks to move my interview forward without luck. Currently scheduled for June 12. Thanks.

I am trying to move my interview forward, but in the past couple of days the rescheduling dates start on Oct 2 2023, no dates sooner are listed. Has something changed with Permitium? Thanks.

Quick question about the process- I understand once you have your interview, the Sheriffs office has 90 days to determine eligibility, but once you are approved is there a maximum timeframe when you have to complete the training and submit that cert?

I can't find any pertinent information on their website, but I wouldn't delay. The training cert is only good for 90 days though. I would either call or email the ccw unit and ask them.

ive contacted permitium support, they say it might be the county is just booked solid for that time, and theyve closed off viewing earlier times

When can I take my firearms course?
The Sheriff's Department cannot require you to take your safety course prior to your application being approved. You may contact one of the approved instructors once your initial fee & fingerprints have been submitted; however the final weapons qualification and your certificate must be within 90 days of your written approval date.

FWIW, I made my final payment by phone today and confirmed the 90 day timeframe to submit my training cert.
