CCW clerk folded and laminated mine; I trimmed the edges, still a little large but I can fit in my wallet.

I folded mine and laminated it.

This could be a little risky as I have found the adhesive on some packing tape is acidic (or whatever it is) and deteriorates ink. I work as a courier and see this happening to package labels if covered with the tape.

Is it OK to photocopy (and shrink) then laminate that?
When I got mine they laminated it for me. Of course I'm up for renewal soon, so they might have stopped doing that.

They started mailing licenses instead of requiring you to go in.

If you don’t have more then 3 weapons listed on the paper permit you should be able to get it down to the size of a CC. Maybe a tad bigger but should still be able to get it to fit in your dollar bills section of your wallet if it’s a slim smaller wallet.

That’s how I have mine stored and laminated. I’m my regular wallet it fits behind my CC slots in the little secret compartment just fine.

The bottom portion of the paper permit under your photo is just a run on of the same weapons listed in the first section and for additional weapons over 3. Fold that back under your picture if you don’t have any additional weapons listed from above and you should be good to go. My paper size is 3.5 inches wide by 2.5 inches high.

SDSO staffs are so nice. I think they add more staffs (around 12) to process CCWs faster. I was there around 11:30am, the checkin list has 1.5 pages of names(20?).
a week before appointment day, BI email me they need more docs.

Congrats! I'm on day 65 and time is going by so slow.
Did you have any communication with SDSO between interview and approval?

When Permitium was new, the SDCSO noted that even if you only wanted to change your address, you had to fill out the same, entire form, including all handgun information.

I recently moved. I wanted to tell the SDCSO that I moved, and went to Permitium. But it STILL looks like one has to essentially apply for the full permit again.

Is that really how it is supposed to work? Have they really not updated the simple changes? Or did I mess up?

Is there an easy way to tell the SDCSO that I have moved?

                            Thanks,
                            Katie
