Two things

This can't have anything to do with the number of users because when this thing barely works I was looking and it says on average roughly 6,000 active users and when it was kicking butt for about 36 hours there were 12 to 13,000 active users. So it's not an overload to the website

Second, if it works so perfectly for a short period of time and then turns into complete crap, how can professionals who earn their living doing this every day of their lives not be able to identify and fix the problem? We keep hearing it's being worked on, but what exactly is being worked on? Has anybody ever bothered to tell us what the real problem is?

Exactly, and we already have a backup at calguns.org that seems to be reliable but uses a different account system. Why not consolidate accounts between the two, use the .org hosting, and redirect traffic from .net with domain forwarding. Or just switch hosting, assuming that?s the issue, for the original site

Is this hosted somewhere? There may be a DDOS attack happening. They are flooding the server to slow it down.

Another day of pages that take 30 seconds to load, it makes it virtually unusable.
For a few hours it works properly, then, loading issues.
Hoping it will get fixed soon.

Today has been one of the worst-performing in memory. Calguns takes so long to load and times out so often as to qualify as completely broken.
