I see what your saying. But just because its a SBS and therefore illegal doesn't mean that it would be legal in a shotgun length configuration. Since it would be an AW with the revolving cylinder, just as the case with the "Circuit Judge" by Rossi.

Personally I think the Circuit Judge is way cooler but thats just opinion

right, if you made the Judge into a shotgun by installing a longer barrel, and a shoulder stock, you'd have a AW at that point, just like the Circuit Judge. But, in a pistol config, it isn't an AW. Confusing, isn't it?

A stock Judge is illegal as an SBS. made into a shotgun, it is illegal as an AW. But if properly registered and configured as an AOW, a Judge without a shoulder stock should be exempt from the SBS and AW regs.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

We are working on a way to make them single action. Hopefully by Sept we should have some for sale.

I just bought a weapon from OC Armory last week. I am so pleased with these people and how friendly and informative they are. If they could just put in a pot belly stove for the winter time and a coffee pot I would spend half of my days there. I plan to buy many more guns and things from them going forward. I was so sad when Arrowhead Outdoor Sports closed its doors several years back as they were just great to deal with. Well, OC Armory has filled that void in being #1 in customer service.

You can basically get any federally-defined AOW (any other weapon) that is not a pen gun or an AW. So, that means smoothbore pistols like the Super Shorty, Keg-12, or Witness Protection 870. YOu can also get items like the original M6 survival firearm, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M6_Aircrew_Survival_Weapon . YOu can also get AR and AK pistols with VFGs, must still have a <11-round fixed-mag to be legal, and transfered as a single-shot pistol. Cane guns are AOW as well.

10-days? I wish. Plan on 3 months for anything they have in stock. Anything ordered in, plan on doubling that 3 months. Might be a little less, but don't plan on it.

I just posted pics of Pat's new 20ga AOW. Pretty awesome. I put it in the shotgun pics section.
