O.C. Armory just got it's SOT

So yesterday was a very exciting day. We received our SOT in the mail. We already ordered Safety Harbor Keg 12's. Right now our focus is going to be AOW's. Hopefully within about 5 weeks we will have inventory in stock for everyone to drool over.

Congrats Mike. It was nice talking to you at SHOT about this.

Added this to the mega AOW thread.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

you can transfer AOWs, C&R SBS/SBRs, and .51"-.60" DDs, without any CADOJ Dangerous Weapons Permits. If you get the DW permits, you can transfer MGs, Suppressors, modern SBS/SBRs, and .61+" DDs, but you will pretty much only be dealing with LE, since us normal folk are basically locked out from getting a DW permit.

And if you have DW permits, It is rumored that CADOJ has threatened to revoke them if you sold the evil stuff to the public, even when legal. The DW permit is a may issue permit that can be revoked at any time, and by revoking the DW permit, you lose the ability to deal NFA stuff to LE.

that could include original .55" Boys Rifles and 14.5mm Russian rifles. Meaner than that illegal .50BMG rifle and CA-legal

I have the high cap mag permit. I am researching if having an Assualt weapons permit will help or hinder what I currently sell. 01/03 are also allowed to sell suppressors without any permits. Unfortunately the only market is LEO's.

so now with these new *fun* items will they only be transferrable to those who have the appropriate paperwork, i.e. NFA trust, or CLEO sign-off?

Or corporation. The only downside to that route is there is a minimum tax in California of $800 on corporations. But if you already have one..... Also we are working on finding a local attorney that will help with NFA trusts at a reasonable cost. For the do it yourselfers there is always quicken willmaker. There are plenty of NFA boards that will show you what to change in the trust.
