I turned in my background packet on March 29th. Still waiting for my phone call from my BI. Hopefully ill get it sometime this coming week

don't we all wish. i've been waiting since 10 days before you and i haven't been called yet. they say the younger you are the sooner you'll be called because you had less of a life to look into. i'm 22. if you're older good luck.

Hey guys, I have my oral interview on the 29th, the thing is while I was waiting AT&T gave me a firm job offer to be a technician, my training starts on the 25th.

Is it possible to postpone my oral interview for a later date? I didn't want to pass up on a job because I was waiting for the sheriff's department to accept me in which I'm not even sure of and from the looks of it the waiting time is 2-7 months.

I have 6-8 weeks of training for AT&T monday through friday and after that I'll have a schedule where one of my days off will be during the weekday in which I can try to make it to my oral.

But yeah, does anyone know if I can postpone my interview to an unknown date right now?

So I called to let them know that I won't be able to make it and the lady just told me to "just give us a call when you are ready" and that's it.

She didn't take down my name or anything....?

Been Waiting 5 Months...

I turned in my packet at the end of Feb. Its now July 25th, has anyone else been waiting this long for BI to call?

I should of updated my status, so people can compare their timeline with mine.

I turned in my background packet on March 29th and received a call from a BI 8 weeks later. I did my polygraph on June 25 and passed. My BI just sent out the letters to my references a few days ago. I believe my next step is the physical fitness test. Just waiting for my BI to contact me with info on the next step.

If anyone is interested there are several LEO jobs in Montana available. MT, WY, and ND are hiring like crazy from the oil money up there.

I just got hired today with the state and start the academy in Sept. It took several months for all the usual background stuff.

Just posting up a FYI if anyone else is interested in finding work. Jobs are available all over the state.
