Just basic stuff. You're not allowed to discuss it as applicants sign a waiver static that they won't.

Go over LASD core values, and their mission statement. Also, try not to say, "I think and I believe." Instead say, "I will do this or do that."

there's a section in there for preparing for the oral interview...radio codes (if you want to learn them ahead of time)...etc.

On the sheriff website there a few sample questions and what to study.

Leaen the Dept. History, know who the Sheriff is, the job duties of Deputy Sheriff.

Go to the mens wearhouse tell them you have a interivew with LA County sheriffs they'll hook you up with a nice professional suit. Get some good sleep the night before, just remember this is your job to lose or get come with a winning attitude.
