The correct thing to do is move over for faster traffic so you don't make the pass you on the right. Take your holier than thou attitude over a few lanes so faster traffic can more safely pass.

Because I wanted to hear the experience of the members here to see if they were similar to mine. I have lived in five different states and several large metropolitan areas and this is the first I have failed to see a consistent policing of the speed limits and driving codes over such a long period of time. I have lived in Houston, Dallas, Pittsburg, and drove in Denver traffic for 10 years.

I have made the long drive all the way across Texas several times and have never seen someone pulled over. I guess I should now assume that traffic laws are not enforced in Texas.

You might want to read Vehicle Code 21654 before you start driving again, because you are NOT following the law

Try again, I set my cruise at 5 miles OVER the posted speed limit trying to keep from being run over by all the nuts doing 70 to 80 in a posted 55MPH speed zone! Got it now?

Its the right thing to do so the law violators are not unconvinced and those that respect the law should just get out of their way. Nice philosophy of life you have there!

I am in the car pool lane with my wife so perhaps you need bifocals or remedial reading class. If you don't like it you are always free to pass or obey the law! If you don't like the speed limits change them dip stick.

Just as a side note I've been pulled over a total of 4 time's in the last 40 years, once in a marked patrol car going to training in Clovis. Three of those stops were by CHP.
