But I'm far from eager to see a Police Interceptor switch on the light bar in my vicinity.

Try again, I set my cruise at 5 miles OVER the posted speed limit trying to keep from being run over by all the nuts doing 70 to 80 in a posted 55MPH speed zone! Got it now?

Although it may not meet the legal definition of 'impeding traffic', if you're going 60MPH in the carpool lane or #1 lane...its nearly guaranteed that you are impeding the normal flow of traffic.

Well California could always go the route of Montana and not have speed limits on some highways. Then those of us that try to follow the laws would not be incumbered by those posted speed limits.

So if the speed limit is a posted 55 and I'm doing 60 then you are saying I should ignore the law do 75+ as the rest of the traffic is doing? Then California should raise the posted speed limits! It is not like the majority of California drivers obey them anyway!!!! I don't have a problem driving faster as long as its legal!!!! Make up your mind California either enforce the speed limits or change them! Hypocrisy is NOT cool!

You should drive whatever speed you want, but just be aware that there are a lot of people out there with anger issues, drug issues, and just a lot of issues in general. Best thing to do is move over, let the speeder pass, and go on with your day. I speed, but I don’t road rage, honk, flip off, etc. I have seen many road rage incidents and I don’t even drive very far.

Watch some YouTube videos of road rage compilations. It will make you want a dash cam if you don’t already have one! I’m not LE, by the way, just lived in this state my whole life. You know those “top ten” lists? I’ve read a few on the worst traffic areas and was surprised that no CA cities were on the list.

No, I'm saying you shouldn't be driving 60 in the carpool lane or the #1 lane. In other words, move farther to the right.

My daily commute consists of 54 miles round trip. Not a day goes by that I don't see a CHP with a vehicle pulled over both on my way to work, AND my way home. Not sure what times your driving OP but I couldn't disagree with you more.

If you're only doing 5 miles an hour over the speed limit, you need to GTFO of the fast lane. You're just a hazard at that speed.
