There's generally no "do-overs", you get kicked out and your done.

          For Broken's, There is maybe a 10% chance for a do-over.
It all depends on what you got discharged for.
I'm still waiting to go back. Marine Corps changed stuff by the time I wanted to go back. Now I have to wait 2 years(March)
I was discharged for PFT failures, but was an outstanding recruit.

              Jayskuh,
You're gonna need some thick skin in the military, so you might as well get used to this now. It sounds like you're a little behind the power curve, but that doesn't mean you can't make it through basic training or be a good soldier. I've seen more than a few Marines that I had written of as s***birds really turn themselves around (though it doesn't happen that often).
If you do make it to basic training, just keep a good attitude and stay motivated. Everything else will fall into place.

Sometimes, depends on if your broken or not.
And you can only be recycled once? or is it twice?
Not sure what the Army does

NEGATIVE. It's rumors like this that make the general public think that the Army is somehow comprised of bottom of the barrel troops.

Also, the point if basic training isn't to "wash people out". It's to transform an average able bodied civilian into a soldier.
