How can you only weigh 105 if you're 5'7"? I'm 5'8" and consider myself EXTREMELY skinny at 140 lbs. Also, I don't mean to be an ***** but I'm pretty sure 55 on the ASVAB is horrible, I scored 90 something at 4 am at MEPS and I rushed through it to get the hell out of there faster...
I wouldn't worry about the drugs however, I know several people who have gone to MEPS 3-4 times because they kept failing the drug test ... all are in the military now.Comment

I asked you before to PM me with your recruiters name and phone number, please do so.
Thank you.Comment

Wow.....
If he gets in, I feel sorry for this guys PSG, 1SG, and CO.
Guy, you are going to need to get your act together if you want the Ranger Tab, excuses of any type ain't going to cut it. Also, good luck getting your MI security clearance with a history of drug use - not saying it isn't possible, just saying good luck.
If you do get in, you stop doing drugs. You may think you are smart, but you will get caught and when you do, you will have just torpedoed your career and screwed your leadership. I'm sure many will tell you stories of guys who use drugs and are in the military but far to much of my time in command was dealing with soldiers who pissed hot and in each and every case it screwed their career and in the majority of cases their recreational habits led to their separation and a generally screwed up life.
No offense, but most people do not have any major issues getting in. It seems like right now, you are not ready. If the military is what you really want, take the next 6 months getting yourself clean (and staying clean), exercise and get some muscle mass on your body (based on your size and weight you can be nothing but skin and bones), and in general get your act together. If you can't commit to 6 months, then maybe the Army is not for you (you will never make it though RIP let alone Ranger School) and you will be thankful you didn't go that route.sigpicComment

When I first read the original post, I thought it was serious (sad, but serious). Now I think it might be a joke.Originally posted by bigbob76I'm in the process of de-humping all my Glocks.Comment

you quit for 90 days , I think it is a bit early to celebrate . I have read all your posts and I am unsure as to WHY you want to join the military , maybe you should clarify your reasons for joining . You went from Ranger to intel with that english ? Doctor spelled wrong , your understanding of grammar is limited . I speak 3 languages fluently and can hold a conversation in another 2. You also have a history of poor choices ( drug use ) and I am sure your school transcripts are less then stellar .
Maybe you should reconsider your career choice or your timeline , how about taking some classes at a community college and once you have a year or two of drug free living and a better grasp of the english language , then maybe join .Justice without force is powerless ; force without justice is TyrannicalComment

You come here looking for guidance and I am offering to help, in order to do that I need to contact your recruiter. Since you want to act like an a** to those who have BTDT I will just give you my 2 cents here.
Your recruiter Fed up.
He wasted his time and the Armys time and money dealing with you. The fact that you are a) smoking dope and b) broken, you shouldve been sent on your way right off the bat. You are not ready for the Military let alone Ranger or MI or anything that involves hard work and dedication. You don't take a Ranger slot unless you plan on making it, you don't take a Ranger slot just "to see how far you get". There are hundreds of people out there who have what it takes and have the intense desire to actually make it, to take one of their slots is selfish and stupid. All I can hope for is that your recruiter or someone who knows him and you will read this post and do what they've got to do to bar you from enlistment. Fortunatly for the Army, you are broken and aren't able to enlist now and hopefully, you get going on another path between now and the time that you recover so I don't have to worry about putting your a** out of the Army when I find you out on the line.
If you can take some time to recover, mature and learn to effectivly communicate, there may still be hope for you, but at this point, with what you've shown here, I don't want you in my Army.
Good luck.Last edited by CavTrooper; 09-30-2009, 6:18 AM.Comment
