This was interesting until I got a banner that read: "Should San Mateo ban leaf blowers?" http://sanmateo.patch.com/articles/p...n-leaf-blowers So I guess, the legitimacy and effectiveness of the poll is now IMHO; in question.

polls can be done to support, or debunk, any cause you wish to.
most folks use polls to their advantage. (That makes sense, doesn't it?) and tend to ignore if the poll doesn't agree with them.
i'd go so far as to say that the anti-gun crowd tend to ignore polls that do NOT favor their views.

we are told not to judge muslims by what a few do...yet, the NRA membership and firearms owners are ALL considered as radical...
