Is a Raddlock a "bullet button" as defined by the new regulations?

Way too many assumptions about this.

Let's say I register, then take off BB. I get arrested and they try to prosecute me. What statute are they going to prosecute me under and what is the penalty?

Let's say I *first* remove BB, then register without BB. They arrest me for BB-less gun, yet I have an explicit exemption for possession of AW during 2017. How are they going to charge me and what is the penalty.

Let's say I *try to* register, but they refuse. That's a lawsuit.

..to all the people who thought they are super smart and know everything who went on and on defending their claims that we can have 26" rifles and no mag locks. Then talked crap to the people who said we might have to keep them on after registration.

Which is curious because the penal code has now been changed so that "detachable" versus "non-detachable" is no longer a thing, and it's now "fixed" versus "not fixed". So detachable is meaningless, except that in these regulations they are basically saying you cannot change to anything that isn't "like kind". I'd love to hear a lawyers analysis of how the words "like kind" have any legal meaning. Or what you could be charged with for not violating anything in the penal code.

Nothing in the statute appears to address OAL beyond the section defining AWs.
As with SB23 features, nothing that defines an AW was changed, thus, if AW status is met through SB23 features, then registration is required and it doesn't matter as long as the OAL is 26" or greater.

It DOES mean that it would not be legal to use some other method of 2017-compliant magazine attachment on such a build without the muzzle device being permanently affixed.
So my PS90.. the ONLY gun I was going to register as an AW is screwed since it uses a "fake can" to meet the 30-inch overall deal.. I guess I could make the stock longer.. or can I epoxy over the set screw on the fake can?

How can they make these changes a day before the law goes into effect.. that seems nearly criminal..

                Oh wait, they don't care...

Don't play, go featureless. They will over reach.

Sorry, what are you driving at? I don't see anything related to a mag magnet. Only that you may not change out your current feeding mechanism

Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!

The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)

I can't wait for the legal challenges to this. If I was going to register I would wait till the last day, or last week of 2017 at least.

I love how months ago some of us were telling people not to discuss the possibility of removing BB until it's official because DoJ reads these forums and those guys dismissed it and kept discussing for months how great it'll be removing the BB after registration.

Too many loopholes. What will they charge you with when you take your bb off after registration? Nothing to pin against you at the moment
