MERGED THREADS "Bullet Button Assault Weapon" Regs

This came across my email today.

My guess is that they will make another classification of AW's so we can't remove our BB.

BulletButtonBan.com - Update: NEW LAWSUIT FILED. We will continue to update THIS PAGE with new information about the ban on

I'm guessing nothing good will come of this.

Since the bullet button was created in order to comply with the prior AW ban, and now they've gotten around to reclassifying compliant rifles as non-compliant, what other purpose can they have but to further harass the law-abiding citizen who owns a lawful firearm?

So does this mean AW Registration won't open until after 2/13/2017?

I'm confused on what's taking so long for the DOJ to get it together. They've had 6 months already (signed July 1st) to get out some form of guidance on registration.

Probably going to make a new class of assault weapon, with BB. This will then not let us remove the BB because it will be a registered BB assault weapon. Just my thoughts

            So your're thinking RAW 2.0
"While it may come as a surprise to the authors of the legislation, most semi-automatic pistols do in fact come with a pistol grip"
Malthusianism is the idea that population growth is potentially exponential while the growth of the food supply is arithmetical at best.

If thats the case, no ones gonna register and will just buy BB 2.0

My guess is that they will do this as well, sadly. I know a firearms attorney that plans to file suit immediately if this is the case.

the law clearly says BB is useless, it is nothing, you think she has the audacity to make "nothing" a requirement?

will there be a ground for a law suit if she does so?

                    Blatant shenanigans.

If they make a BB rifle it's own "class" of AW, then aren't they basically saying that BB rifles are not as "dangerous"as AW's of the past. "Rifles with BB's are bad, but not so bad that we are going to let you remove them"

this actually confirms the functionality of BB.

other than removable mag and fixed mag, they might come up with non-permanently fixed mag. or "AWs with pre-ejaculation mags"

If they try to create a new class of assault weapons I'm probably not even going to bother with registration.

Yes, absolutely. It will just take time & money to fight it.

And in about 7-10 years it will be in Trump's SCOTUS.

                              10 years folks.
