We should all be calling and emailing that this over reach of authority is unconstitutional and that Jackie will be added to the civil suit against California for discrimination of 2nd amendment supporters.
"Shall not be infringed upon"...NRA needs to file suit after Trump takes office.
This must be a lawsuit based challenge, if all of us (over 7 million California gun owners) gave $5 towards a legal war chest, that is $35 million to sue the chit out of this state for illegally violating our 2nd amendment rights.

"Shall NOT be infringed upon".

Second, we need to do eveything we can to find dirt on Gavin Newsome and ensure he is tossed out of politics before he becomes king of Kalifornia.

I suppose you can call and complain, as I'm sure plenty will do. I was thinking to call and email for clarification on how to "comply". Hundreds of thousands of "I'm confused..." contacts should break something in the system.

Not a tough guy at all....simply I have enough money to and options to not register Jack! so if i have to convert all my guns into featureless, or even if it comes to permanently welding a magazine! I will do that before i register it!

The featureless out was put in place because that's how they operate. Divide and conquer. Incremental encroachment. AW and BB. Now it's Bb and featureless.

First it was AW by name. Then by feature. Now they take the BB away. Next come your featureless. The gun owners who got the most out off their firearms, were the first ones to register. Then those that registered after them were left with rifles which were less capable formats.

I think of it this way. They're splicing us up little by little. I'm taking what I can now by registering, but will continue to fight the power. I've made this decision based on those that have experienced previous gun grabs.

You can always bury what you have in a safe. I don't like that option.

I swear, being a gun owner in California carries the same stigma that being a closet homosexual did in the early 90's. WE ARE THE NEW CLOSET MINORITIES as we can't even talk about our own lives for fear of persecution...

I think the DOJ may have pushed fence sitters on how they will handle the rifle options by making the registration process more complicated than need be.

This especially for those that have had rifles for years and doubtful if the DOJ has knowledge of the rifles(s) existence much less configuration. Multiple pictures and copies of receipts per rifle will be a deciding factor for many.

I foresee more than just a few potential "felons" in the making for the next couple of years,

If the Department deems the application incomplete, you will be notified by email and have 30 days to comply

At that point the registration is cancelled

They will be looking at the photos, looking at the same upper 20 times will be subject to follow up

It was never the CADOJ's intention to allow subjects to stock up on lowers to assemble into AW's after 2016.

No receipts, no letter. Perhaps you had the foresight to take photos of all of the assembled AW's and mailed them to yourself before the end of the year?..... that would be evidence of completion if you do not have reciepts

Borrow uppers from a friend, take a photo of all the completed AW's you intend to register. You do not want to be in the basket of applicants who gets the email for additional information

If you think your explanation will suffice, go ahead and submit

As I have stated before in other posts, the guys with 20 lowers and no uppers are not going to get approved

This. I forget which news program had liberal HBO talk show host saying they should run Gavin Newsom in the next election because hes pretty and would win. I about spit my coffee across the room.
