Pretty much every pic I can find of that knife shows the blade running right to the choil without any sharpening notch, as well as bright machine finished screws and a polished stainless clip, not the black clip and matte finish screws like yours

Just picked up the Zero Tolerance 0801S110VBLK. I'm a big fan of the size, shape and designs they use on the Todd Rexford 0801's!

Here's one for $35 with a flashlight. Check out the pics. This one is even better than yours. I can tell by the lettering/font on the blade because the spacing is off, but still it is really really close copy without the obviously fake sharpening choil or wrong clip. Also the angle the lettering on both sides is too parallel to the grind. The screw holes in the scales look better than yours too, but the BIG giveaway? The price.

Describe the scenario in which you imagine a seller has a $100 knife like an S30V PM2 or a blue M390 PM2 that cost probably $250 and is selling it buy it now for $30-$50? He forgot? He stole it? I don't get it

I HATE counterfeiters!!! Hate! Would slice those muthas with their cheap az steel if I ran into them in a dark alley.

Equally douchey are the people who support that market, IMO (shady sellers, people who dgaf etc, not speaking to this recent transaction above).

Nice pics as always and thanks for sharing JesseT!

There are so many scammers on EBAY but if you stick to powersellers with good ratings and preferably discounters with a brick and mortar it is fairly safe IMHO. For new stuff anyway. Great used deals are there too sometimes, but buyer beware.

Listed as buy it now for $45, like new, unused. I got super lucky that I saw this one right after the seller posted the item. I have a Military already, so why not a para 2?

They are like crack. The first hits free then you find yourself behind a dumpster in an alley turning tricks to pay for the next one. 😂😂😂

Cold Steel Micro Recon 1. Standard business card provided for size reference.

2" utility so I don't waste good blades on opening packages and other menial tasks. Reason I purchased was the weight and price. 1.1oz. It's like having a safety razor in your pocket. Out of box it was able to shave my arm hair. Probably gonna get the Tanto version too. You know how it is after you get one version of the blade!

The Spyderco Ladybug is very comparable and half the weight of even this, but I prefer thumb studs and the price is $24 vs $36.

Cold Steel Micro Recon 1 next to my previous purchase, Cold Steel Talwar XL! Instead of the old AUS 8A the Talwar wears the upgraded CTS-XHP steel. A few weeks ago I was out camping with some people I had just met through a group. We talked about safety while traveling alone and the guy next to me showed me his Gerber fixed blade 4" survival style knife. Nice blade. Then I flung the Talwar out and it glinted in the camp fire with its 5.5" blade. Three people said "whoa..." at the same time. Total Crocodile Dundee moment! It was great!
