Thanks. I have been digging the epoxied wrapped handle blades lately. Those Gators are pretty nice looking. His designs are really a bargain for what he puts into them. Definitely beautiful blades. He does fantastic kydex which is included too. The leather I hear is great as well - only $30 more. If you want the best price, go by his Instagram prices.

Sorry, I've been meaning to take some pics and I'll post them up to Random Knives you Love thread.

Here's an old pic from a year or two ago.

Knives 5-8 are the Survive 3.5, 4.1, and 5.1 of the older models. I have another 4.1, 5, 7/7, and two newer gen 5.1's that aren't in the picture. I probably have at least 3x these amount of fix blades these days. A few more Busse's, Swamprats, Bark Rivers, Koster Bushcrafter, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some other brands.

The Survive! knives are pretty nice fix blades for the money and quality. The 3v and 20cv steels they use are great at using for outdoor tasks.

Thanks for posting the pic. Nice collection! Survive's look great. I have never tried a Bark River but have come close a bunch of times. The one that I liked most was the Bravo Survivor in green canvas micarta/A2, but the Bravo 1.5 is pretty sweet too.

            Whats your latest knife purchase?

On a knife kick lately. Picked up a Gerber Strongarm fixed blade to go with my SOG Seal Pup. And a Kershaw Leek and CRKT M16 for folders.

sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.

Nice collection, I see a couple of Swap Rats in there too.

Thanks crufflers, I took an updated pic of most of my fixed blades that I'll post later. I really like the Bark River's because their handles and designs fit well in my hands. I don't have the Survivor yet, but have four Bravo 1's, a Bravo 1.25, and a Bravo 2. They're in A2, S35vn, and CPM3v. They make great survival and bushcraft blades in the 3-5" range. You could also find them on the secondary markets at decent prices on eBay and the Bladeforums. I noticed you're into Busse's, which are awesome blades. I have a few but haven't used them in the field yet. I heard Infi is awesome, but it seems for me the 3v or 20cv is plenty for anything I will every throw at them.

Thanks Scott, I love the Swamp Rats. I enjoy using my Ratmandu and Rodent 9. Unfortunately, just like all the guns we have we only have two hands, so many rarely get taken out to be used as intended. The two Rats are an exception for me. The Infidu is great but it's a safe queen..lol

Yes. The production schedule is killing me over here. I hope the Busse BB13 ships soon - basically to me, it is the SYKCO 1311 that I don't have with a better blade shape. I have the .25" thick 1111 and the 911. I am pretty satisfied with SR-101 and also love the old SR-77 stuff. No steel is Adamantium

I still only have the Team Gemini Light Brigade as far as INFI blades. INIFI doesn't rust lke SR-101 but a lot are coated anyway. SR-101 is TOUGH. I really prefer the Scrap Yards more and love the RES-C handles. Super ergo handles and choils like the Ratweilers are great too. My first Busse was the ASH1 but I was very happy to get it in a plain black/black RES-C handle (TRASH1) - I have three Other favorites are the Son of Dogfather, Regulators, and Taliwhackers.

SR-101 is pretty much bomb proof. The only issue I have with the coated blades are I can't use the spine to strike a ferro rod or use it to make tinder. However, they sure can hold a edge and you can beat them to death!! I only have the Ratmandu, Infidu, Ratweiler LE, Rodent 9, CG SOB, and a Sykco 911. I'd like to pickup a Boss Jack LE and Team Gemini, along with a few others. The Busse Grab bag specials seem pretty interesting, but I don't know when they have those sales. The problem I'm running into now is I have over 30 fixed blades and can't even use 80% of them..lol

I think about SR-77 and SR-101 as S7 and 52100 with awesome heat treats. INFI, I dunno what it is... hahah. They say the formula has changed a few times since the 1990's. I'm the same way. I have users that I abuse, but too many blades. I want to use them though. That's why I tend to not buy blades that are too pretty to ever use. Nothing parkerized or powdercoated is that pretty - they just get more character after beatings. If it is a hand polished blade it'd be hard to beat the tish out of it (at first). I do love to look at beautiful blades though. I'll post an recent example of one I love to look at but would be afraid to own. I guess that's why I like Kershaw, ZT, and Scrap Yard, hahah. I'll beat the hell out of a $140 SYKCO all day long.

This guy makes some beautiful stuff.

Here is another recently acquired Busse Kin. Swamp Rat INFI-du, or more properly a Ratmandu INFI.

BTW I got dinged for the Trash 2, so it will probably show up in 2-4 weeks. Still waiting on Bunker Buster LE.
