limit of six items (ammo box) per customer...

went to walmart at tracy...they are putting out a limit to only six items (ammo box) per customer. well, at least that what it says on the flier posted on the ammo shelves. with that, the shelves are still empty. are these applicable to all the walmart around?

But according to the poll, only about 1/3 of the voting Calgunners approved of the rationing. The two thirds who voted NO to rationing should now stand by their principles. They should not buy ammo from Walmart while the rationing is in effect. It would disingenuous of them to do otherwise.

I think the rationing is the only reason I was able to get a box of Winchester 500rd 22lr HV today. Every WM I've been to has that 6bx limit.

jlh95811, thank you for the head up. After couple weeks of trying, I finally scored 6 boxes 9mm WB.

Looking to get a few boxes of 9mm wwb before the 7th or so since my new Glock 17 comes home then. Just not sure when I'll be able to go shoot it As stated before I usually take someone with me of age to buy ammo, so I will be twisting their rules and walking out with 12 boxes instead of 6 I only need 10 though, I have 1,000 fully prepped cases with primers and 500 processed cases waiting to be loaded. Still waiting for my Montana Golden Bullets order to be shipped out to me

There may be other factors for the 2/3 NO vote besides anti-hording/gouging.
The reason for my NO vote was the 48 mile drive (round trip) and $4 bridge toll to the closest Wal-Mart that sells ammo. If the Wal-Marts in Alameda and Costra Costa counties sold ammo, i wouldn't care about a 6 box limit.

I agree with that, one of the reason's I would of voted no.

Thank God they finally put in a limit at Walmart. Is this in effect at Mtn View and Milpitas? If so, hopefully it will prevent Target Masters from buying up everything by the pallet and then reselling at much higher price at their store.
