I like it and would get one but even at $319 is kinda steep for a type III anod-paperweight only. If its pricing was closer to what Ares sells i would be all over it. Wondering if the CNC files would be available since thats pretty much the only way it looks like it can be completed.

There is a Wilson/Nowlin ramp pre-cut. Two holes, rails, and its done.

$319 still does not include the grip which is $110. The total would be $429 for the complete frame and grip with the calguns discount.

Yea that is about 2-3 times what I would be willing to pay for this. KTO mills complete frames for that price out of steel and then has them heat treated.

For a little perspective, the injection molded polymer STI grip with a trigger, grip screws, and mag catch is over $200.

So far there has been great live positive feedback at the possibility of building a full 2011 platform for about $1200.
