Just figure having no ramp slot cut at all will allow more people to buy since they will have more options on their end to do what they want with it. All the barrels I have are Clark/Para/Lissner ramped, but I may end up turning the ramps off completely and going with a standard 1911 ramp setup.
As for the price goes, I have my own machine shop and I can say the price is justified given how much work you have put into it. I think 3.5-4.0 hours is high for cycle times but there are a lot of operations and off angles for ops on this part. I haven't set one up myself though and only going off photos. You seem to know what you are doing, and trust you have done what you can to reduce cycle time.
The price for one of these is a lot less than I would spend if I were to draw up, program and run my own so I'm completely fine with paying you for one. When they are ready I'll without a doubt buy one, or more.
Keep up the good work!Comment

I really don't think that we need another group buy. Limited 10 is signing up as a vendor and can market and sell his frames directly. He is already offering CalGuns specific discounts. Lets leave it at that....Comment

FYI, I just created a new thread under the new product announcement as a vendor.

Are you going to make a jig for these?Comment

8-12 weeks is out of the range most credit cards give to settle any "disputes" between customer and vendor. Not that I'm expecting any issues, but many of us are still enduring the Ares Rudius debacle.
I've been following this project since it was first posted, and am super excited. But I am leary about throwing nearly $1000 at a brand new company, for a product that has not been validated publicly, that I also have to wait 8-12 weeks, completely surrendering any chance of recovering that money should something go arwy.
I would be more comfortable putting up a $100 non-refundable deposit on each frame and jig until we are a little closer to definite delivery.
Just an idea... (that would have me buying two NOW)Comment

How about $100 deposit for a jig and a frame, and a price of $219 for the paperweight? I basically performed two group buys on my own to make this happen.Last edited by Limited-Ten; 03-16-2013, 7:50 PM.Comment

I am in. How do we get in on this?
Edit: You changed your post (price) since my reply, but I am still in. Hope to see the price of the jig soon as well.Last edited by MountainShooter; 03-16-2013, 9:04 PM.Comment
