I tried to bend one back as well but mine cracked . I did not think about cutting out the center support .

Don't worry about the alcohol immersion, you're probably in good enough shape to withstand 2 or 3 more decades of besotted living before organs start to fail. I made it to the age of 46 before it almost killed me.

my suggestion is to use that reciever with your pirate AK build, it would look the best on that one I think, very fitting.

correct, mine is welded but the welds need to be ground down so they are ugly right now so i covered them up in the pics

repairing the rails was the hardest part. not very much to look at but she cycles like a champ.
