Leaving tonight after work, pulling the trailer. Will roll into FS/BLM lot around 11pm. Then 4 days of rifle fun.

I'm headed to 4day PR tonight - I'll be running a Colt M4 upper on a CalGuns logo lower with Magpul FDE furniture.

Temperature are gonna be on the toasty side - let's hope the wind cooperates.

This will be my first rifle class.

I just got back from 2-day defensive handgun, the ultra-intro course. I've already DG'd handgun but took a buddy there for his first time. He's hooked.

In June I'm going back to take my Dad and daughter. They'll be taking the 2-day defensive handgun. I can't bring myself to take that course again so I'm going to to retake 2-day shotgun.

I wish they had more skillbuilders on the schedule. I'm going just for the fun of shooting but no chance to take the rifle or shotgun test again.

It's hard to schedule 3 people to take a week away from home so it's intro classes this year to get everyone used to it.

Bar?? What's this three letter word you speak of? Fortunately I'm one of those guys that buys a six pac and it'll last about 7 months.

Too funny, I almost decided to run with an M1 carbine too. I had enough ammo on hand, but it was from a mish-mash of manufacturers and I wanted to run consistent ammo for the whole course.

I'm doing the same "it's fun to shoot" approached to a two day with my stepson starting Monday. Just got back from a four-day last week, but we couldn't get the schedule coordinated to all go together. I have some real issues with the FS curriculum, but it is great range time since you get to do lots of things you can't do at most shooting ranges here in SoCal. (My 4DDH was a pretty disappointing trip for me by the way; arthritis and FS do not go together well. Plan to do a short write-up when I get back next week.)
