Definitely. No rapid fire needed, so bolts will work well.

I find the lighter the rifle, the easier it is to shoot the 37 and 50 yard shots.

      Don't get mad. Get even

Yeah, RM does not require such rapid follow up shots like PR, so muzzle brakes are not really needed. With that said, the reduced recoil is really nice LOL

Yea, that has got to be loud when the powder meant for a 16" is burnt outside of the barrel LOL

Nice and light, though, isn't it?

It was another scam all along. Now he has the faithful terrified that he may close it down and more money will be sent to iggy.

My bad- I see we are trying to clean this up the thread and I agree. Now that I am not going to lose my membership, I plan on a 2 day HG with my son in March. This will be his first time!

On the second post of this thread, I have a link to some of the documents that have been captured including some of his recent emails. You can check there. I'll add more docs as I get them.

The wise "faithful" are those who realize that Piazza will spend whatever he receives...like corn through a goose.

"Trying to clean this up" won't work if Piazza receives more money.

Thinking .223 as it gives me 5 in the magazine and cheaper match ammo. If and when I get to Precision rifle I can use 6xC as they allow reloads for the class. Though I'd need permission as it seems they are behind a couple of decades as the minimum caliber seems to be .308 for that class.

The website may not be up to date. Plenty of people shooting 6.5 CM in my class.

Whoo-hoo! My CC company emailed me today regarding my request to reverse charges for Fraud regarding my Front Sight upgrade I did in December. The $1997 charge for the Knight membership (which was supposed to includ a RIA 1911) was refunded back to my card!

Frankly I would rather have private training and the RIA, but I am satisfied.

I am quite frustrated at this whole mess with Front Sight, but honestly I can't complain about what I got out of FS over the years in return for the money I have previously invested.

The first time I went to FS was in 1999 or 2000 - (I think the latter.) The class was primarily taught by Brad, though Iggy was on the range teaching and shooting and did the lecture portion of the class. The only building I recall being there was the white dome which was pretty much brand new. Great memories!

I think it was posted in the giant old thread, a picture of the target with distances.

                            here is one from FB:

                            2 shots each.
                            IIRC: 35 y and 75 y standing unsupported
100 y prone without anything touching the ground
all other distances, bipod, back pack or magazine monopod OK

Two shots each. There is setup time, then shooting time. I felt a little time pressure at the shorter distances, but not bad. Lots of time at the mid/far distances. You can shoot the prone shots in different positions, but prone is most stabilized for me. In supported, you can use bipod/backpack/rest/whatever.

                              35y: standing
                              50y: standing
                              75y: unsupported prone
                              100y: unsupported prone
                              150y: supported prone
                              200y: supported prone
                              250y: supported prone
                              300y: supported prone

I have a diagram sketch of the target with dimensions on my notepad.
