Tossed a small primer 45 into my LP 45 bucket. It was almost full. I knew I did it but didn't want to resort. Figured I would find it later.

    I did. I hate SP 45...

Stuck a 40 into a 9x25 die. Wtf that felt weird. Had a 40 with a small top hat when I was done.

Stuck cases in dies due to not enough lube.

Squib in a shot gun. Get the pffffffffft followed by shot slowly pouring out the barrel.

Knocked over a primer tray. Those little ***** are hard to find.

Nothing to bad. I am OCD about everything now...

I've made some mistakes that I refuse to admit... here are a few of the less embarrassing:

      1) Lee Pro powder disk, went to change the disk and lifted up a hopper full of powder... had a 1/2" wide stream of flowing ball powder and I just stood there trying to figure out why this was happening. Had about 2 teaspoons left when I finally turned it off.

      2) RCBS Charge Master, left the drain plug open just like everyone else.

      3) Loading 6.5X55 for the Silhouette match, late Friday night and missed the powder on one round. The next morning, half way through the match I pull the trigger and hear a tiny poof. I pull back the bolt and out pops a case with a 140gr bullet sticking out... you could not possibly get a bullet to seat in the case any higher than this one was! I still have it on the bench as a reminder.

      4) Loaded 100 rds of .357 on the 550B, adjusted the crimp die using the Dillon case gauge. Went to the range and the rounds would not chamber in a Python. Came home and realized my Python cylinder is tighter than the stupid gauge! So now I have to pull a revolver out of the safe and adjust the crimp according to the pistol :/

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

I would not call that a mistake on your part...

I was loading .40 S&W and when I switched to 180 grain bullets from 155 grain I forgot to change the powder charge then proceeded to the range with my new glock 22 and my new baby desert eagle , I shot the baby eagle first and the recoil was heavier than usual but it shot them with no problem, the glock , however, was not so forgiving, when I fired the first shot the case head hit me in the top of the hand and the extractor hit me in the shoulder and the rest of the shell was still stuck in the breach, $75.00 later it was back together but it was scarred for life as the bottom of the slide was indented, the gunsmith told me it was close to being blown clean off the lower , since then everything gets a double and triple check.
