    Anyone use Load-X ammo?

Browsing through their catalog I found a few things that peaked my interest plus they are nearby in Santa Rosa. I am specifically looking at the 68gr BTHP and 75gr BTHP for bench rest betty.

Anyone got any suggestions for what to feed a FAL(.308 is on page 8) for pigs? Anyone use a FAL for pigs or should I stick with my 30-30. The spot I go range is from 80-150 yards so I was thinking .308 would be better past the 100 yard mark. The FAL shoots pretty good with surplus and irons which makes me curious about a scope and good loads.

    Thanks!

No one has shot this ammo?

Guess I will TOFTT and see how they perform. Sticking with new manufacture and with a 1/12 twist on the FAL guess I will go 'chef's choice' and see what they recommend.

Stayed tuned for an update and piggy AAR.

I used them once. Got, I think 250 or 500 9mm reloads. Feel was not a whole
      lot different than miwall reloads.

Out of the batch, I've had a few obviously bad ones and they slipped though
quality check. For example, bullet loaded into a .380 case and obviously damaged
bullet. Failure % *seem* higher than miwall, which for me is usually 5-10 out of
1000. Sample size for the batch is probably too small to draw a good conclusion.
I'd not mind buying them again for plinking if the price is right.

I haven't used any of their stuff in over 20 years. I did order x-treme bullets from them once cause they were a dealer for them back then and shipping from Santa Rosa was cheaper then from NV. (Before flat rate shipping)

I've been shooting Load-X for almost 15 years as my target ammo. It works; no complaints.

It turns out not to be cheaper than shooting "factory" ammo because I just end up buying and shooting more within the same budget.

I would say the first 2,000 rounds shot through my Jericho were Load-X. I think it was $80 for 1,000 back then. I can't remember any problems.
