Absolutely. I've been getting the same thing though for over 30 years, but my friend's and family say it's the best ice cream.

Yes, like that old movie "Fire In The Hole!" From the '60s, where that guy was flicking primers at passing garbage trucks, causing them to explode and burst into flames. I didn't like the part where he flicked one into a campfire and took out an entire Cub Scout den, though. I was afraid to camp out for years after seeing that. Did you see it? What am I thinking, of course you did.

And I understand that some people are totally unaware of some hazards. Sometimes you just use common sense and move on accepting everyday unavoidable risks of life. Example, wearing eye protection & gloves at the recycling facility.

But when someone knowingly sneaks in something that just goes 'Pop'...causing someone important to me to be injured...

Last guy who pulled that sheet on me we both went to the hospital. He needed a size 14 brown leather boot surgically removed from his orifice, and I needed my boot back.

If you are implying kendog4570 is sneaking primers into the recycle place you need to reread his post. He separately hands the recycle guy a bag of primers. Nothing to hide.

Either that or hes been going around to ensure "every few months some East Bay recycling goes up in flames"

They wont take live ammo but primers are OK. They pop during the heat up cycle when the stuff is melted.

I called AM today. They didn't know what a primer was. Again, AMs official written policy says no explosives. Last time I checked primers are explosives. Is not the difference between live ammo and non live ammo an active primer?

Check the warning labels on the factory primer containers at your location.

All the facts you need to know are already written on each Factory primer box you currently have.

I am totally unaware who induced or implanted all the child-like and strange ideas and concerns about primers you have.

My ability to translate Industry Standards for the Safe handling of reloading components to you has failed, miserably. My bad.

I won't use a primer that fell on bench [ now I hand load primers in chair in house ] anymore than I would try to use / reuse powder that was spilt or from pulled bullets .

You're being ridiculous. It's perfectly reasonable and safe to use those primers.

If I spill or drop primers I use them. Never a failure. No way to equate spilled powder with a dropped primer. Dumbest thing I have heard in 50 years of reloading. tony not to bright might be ocd.
