And perhaps that's what XBox is counting on: Mom and Dad buying Jr an XBox One for Christmas and not paying attention to the constant hookup things, because they're just unaware. Face it, we've never had a system that required these types of things before and includes a CAMERA that can constantly be on and could possibly film you without your knowledge.

What's the over/under on the date a "Nude Girls on Kinect" site goes up for XboxOne?

I don't think so... When they see that sales of the xBone are almost non-existent compared to the PS4, they will either jump on the gravy-train, or drop out of the game market (or like M$ did last time, suck up the losses, and drop the NEW improved xBone2 with function over features, or BOTH [7 vs Vista ]).

Screw xbox. I love my 360, but I am not liking this new system. I am leaning toward ps4, but I am going to wait it out a bit.

Xbox One will sell very well. People will buy products no matter how many restrictions you put in front of them.

This is a system that will have 10 years to convince us consumers it belongs in our homes. Peoples perspective and tastes will change over time.

My 360 is on its last legs. Luckily, it's 8 years old. Regardless of privacy concerns, I'm not going to spend $600 on a gaming console I'll use a few hours a week. Figure the PS3 will drop in price when the 4 comes out, pick up a new one of those and try out all the PS exclusives I've never tried before.

                  just watch both videos......

I sit here and wonder, what made Microsoft think this was a good idea? They got so greedy and controlling that they are doing all these restrictions and other BS stuff.

I hope fellow gamers stay strong and refuse to buy "the one". These are dark days coming, and if Microsoft can get away with this, soon, everyone will. We gotta hit them where it hurts.

So, to the current xbox owners, do you not leave your system hooked up to the network all the time anyways?

I do, and I don't feel this is an issue.

I have no issue with the camera and the mic.

I can say this for sure, people really hate the Xbox One, I mean a lot.

They really screwed up on this one, Sony has always been better at marketing there product but Microsoft really made it easy for them this time.

I watched both of the E3 events in full, really the games looked exactly on par with each other on both systems and that cracks me up because everyone is so offended with the DRM stuff that they are overlooking the Xbox One is going to have great looking games and that is what matters when you get down to it.

The things that people really hate the xbox one for don't effect me and Halo and Gears are some of my favorite franchises of all time so I am gonna get an Xbox One for those games alone.

A lot of this stuff is really being blown out of proportion as well. Most players are online all the time anyway and you can shut the camera off so that to me is a non issue.

All the DRM and disk stuff doesn't effect me either but it is still pretty offensive so I can see why people are pissed about that.

What really makes me mad is shoving Kinect down my throat, but no one really talks about that.

PS4 hands down. Not a single thing to dislike about the PS4 meanwhile several things to dislike about the Xbox one. Easy choice.

Here's a funny comment from youtube.

"This is 911, what is your emergency?
I need to report a murder, Xbox One is dead. The PS4 just Killed it!

Yeah, I work in the video game business and at E3, I must say the more I see there, the more I am leaning towards the PS. It not only has a faster graphics processor, but it doesn't require to be connected to the internet full time, doesn't have a microphone and camera that stays on when off. If anything the Xbox 1 seems to be promoting more of the big brother approach.

I personally don't leave my systems connected to the internet. Heck, most of the time my consoles are off. Hell, since console exclusives are for the most part dead aside from maybe one or two titles max - I personally do a lot more gaming on my computer than my consoles. Not only does my computer perform leagues ahead of my consoles, the graphic quality and processing speed is impossible for such an outdated system to compete against. My computer has the specs to easily handle any video game release for the next 3 years, running of max graphical and performance settings.

My thoughts exactly. While Sony is flaunting they've won the video gaming console market, Microsoft has already moved on. With the One (or XBone, as you haters call it), Microsoft's intent was to do more than gaming. By the time Sony sees this, they will have been left far behind. Right now, people are more demanding and you can't fill just one niche anymore.

People will buy it not for gaming, but for all the other stuff it does.
