I didn't state that it was specifically about these consoles, for all I know you might be one of those people still butthurt over sony removing the ability to install a linux distro on the ps3.. But claiming that they're going to do something "shady" when they've publicly announced the exact opposite... kinda dumb.

I can't say the same for X-Bone... GameStop employees that keep-up are telling people they know to run from M$'s next console... as ONE might need pepper-spray to prevent rape.

I can predict M$'s next flop, let's call it the "Vista" or "Win8(.0)" of consoles even before release, and when the no-lube-cornholing gets too uncomfortable, M$ will bend, like Apple did with DRM Music.

I am a bit disappointed with both. I remember when 360 and ps3 came out, it was like, i have to have one of those. Right now it isnt like that with these two.... If they released a new Ace Combat for the ps4 i would be all over it.

But the old school style Ace Combat gameplay. Not that crap Ace Combat Assault Horizon they released, that was an insult and a spit in the face

Microsoft has been losing touch with reality for quite awhile and now with the new console it just proves that. I was ready to go with the new XBox until all the info started coming out.

There are numerous things I don't like and having to have the stupid Kinect camera on no matter what is just another dumb move. Kinect IMO is a POS anyway and I never use it.

That and I'll save 100.00 by going with a PS4. I am willing to bet that MS may see the writing on the wall and drastically change things but that's doubtful since they seem to have lost touch with what consumers want.

The problem with Sony is that THEY want you to buy THEIR proprietary memory, which is almost as bad as M$'s issues. Think BetaMax, Memory stick, Pro Duo, M2, PSVita, I mean PSrape (@ $99 retail for a 32GB card). I will never buy another Sony-memory-accepting-Camera...

I am not usually an early-adopter, I usually wait for <$200 range to be financially-feasible, maybe I'll wait for a used one, and to see if the PS4 has any issues like the 1st gen 360's had with heating up, and bad solder...

I will buy both systems when they release, as always. However, so far only XBoxOne has exclusive titles I am definitely gonna have to buy day 1 (Dead Rising 3 and Killer Instinct). The PS4 list of initial games doesn't have any must buy games for me yet. However, I know they'll have a God of War variant at some point.

Ahh, I'll be damned. Didn't catch that last line about multiplayer requiring PS+.

Although to be honest, it's more of a benefit really. Less likely to encounter morons online and $5 a month isn't a big deal(it's already less than half the base price of a movie ticket that only gets you a couple hours of non-interactive entertainment). Assuming that sony has actually decided to implement an online multiplayer network that's worth a crap.

Still not the same as MS telling you to go **** yourself with DRM.
