Face to face is best. When I do sell we trade cell numbers, emails etc. I have ran into some BAD BAD calgunners with good feedback.

    Why is that?

Leaving a negative feedback for "Poor performance, bad communication, flaking and backing out deal" WILL GET RETRACTED ! Happened to me many times.

The only time a bad feedback actually sticks is a lost of money. Even when there is lost money the user whines to the Mod or are friends with mods and negative feedback get retracted.

This really frustrates me alot, feels like I'm on Ebay. I learned the hard way and got burned multiple times here on calguns.

So the itrader rating gets retracted I make a thread/post of the incident.

When I tell a detail story with times dates and PROOF on calguns regarding what happened the thread gets deleted!

I'm surprised this thread didn't get deleted by mods.

If you have so many problems buying and selling here and think everyone you have problems with is friends with the mods why do you keep utilizing the marketplace and keep bumping your sale posts many times? I'm not saying there is no problems there but seems strange that it happens to you so much.

I've had a couple of problems in the past with some things here over the last couple years due to back problems and unforeseen issues with procedures that didn't allow me to get out of the house, and a big family emergency here. I can see both sides, but the seller does at least need to get back. As of right now, leave neutral feedback or negative if you feel so inclined.

Ok so let's say he pays the seller a visit.

Knocks on the front door and asks for his item or a refund...then what?

He has no where else to go. Ebay mods have it out for him too apparently

Then again he does have over 100 itrades. I'm sure there is a few Jack wads in that cluster. Luckily my 40ish people (not everyone returns the iTrade favor) have been pretty cool.

                So, OP.

                Any update?

Has the seller even contacted you since reading this thread?

If the guy that runs the place chimes in and challenges the seller to comment, and he doesn't, that seems like a definitive answer. At least to me.

Hope it gets worked out to your satisfaction.

Yeah. I love the online mall ninja seals on CalGuns.

I texted him yesterday asking if I was going to be getting the upper or not. That was at 4:30. No response. I pinged him again this morning at 9:30 am. Nothing yet.

The thing that irks me is I know he's getting the texts and seeing this thread. Just be a man and say "sorry dude, I dropped the ball. Ill personally make sure it gets out today." That's all it would've taken and I wouldn't have started this shame thread.

I am literally in tears....awesome. All seriousness, this is never ok to do to a person. I hope Kes or another mod gets involved and helps to rectify the problem.

Thats a damn shame. Member since 2006 with 60+ positive feedback at 100%. I've never worried about calguns as long as I saw the right things I needed to see, and this guy I for sure would've sent money to without any thought of it.

I do hope everything gets resolved

Wow, really unfortunate. He owes you a prompt refund, something on top to make it right, and a darn good story. Hope it works out.
