Marketplace issue

No I'm not getting banned for this joker. I'm hoping it doesn't come to this, but I'm not going to wait around like those mosin group buy suckers. If I don't receive the upper (not a refund) by Wednesday, I'm taking him to small claims court and filing a police report with the San Diego sherriff's department. That will have given him 14 days from the time he received my money, to deliver the good.

Right on, thats what I would have done and have done in the past. I actually just posted in the other market place complaint thread to call and file a police report, etc. I dont know why more people dont do that, its theft people, plain and simple. You can give any excuse in the book but holding on to someones money for weeks on end or even days on end with no communication is not the way you do it. And like OP said, this guy is reading all of this stuff!! AND still no response. Hope you get your upper and sooner than later.

If you take him at his word, it sounds like an issue with the brother-in-law. You might just get a refund, and move on and look for the upper elsewere.

Just a question? Have any of you actually had sucess calling the cops or taking people to small claims court? From my experice they start to get really iffy with paypal and other electronic payment transactions. Plus they will ask you what you were buying then you admit you broke their terms of service by buying gun parts. You may pay more in a ftf transaction but i think its worth it.

Just take the refund. He might have a crackhead brother who sold the upper for more crack for all you know. Not completely unbelievable. I'd take my money back and forget this ugliness.

Oh whoopy, more excuses for taking someones money. Kinda funny too after he read this thread, hes pulling out the family issue card, which is what lots of people posting were saying "might be going on". There are no family issues (and if there are, sorry to be blunt but that is no excuse and fairly not anyone elses problem but his so don't try and make it other peoples problems ) this guy took payment, spent the money and is now scrambling to figure out what to do. That is my assumption and Id bet on it. If the OP really wants to make a point, continue with your plan of filing a police report and taking to small claims. If he offered me a complete full refund and i mean like immediately no more "oh ill have it by tomorrow" BS, id be willing to do it just to save my hassle of filing reports and dealing with courts and such. Something people should know by a fairly young age, dont f**k with peoples money.
