Well you just said, "more reliable than any other major brand". So you agree? Confirm or deny?

Perhaps you should re-read what I wrote here one more time. "It is no more reliable than any other major brand". If your going to quote something try getting it right. Leaving three words out of a quote is "Cherry Picking", especially when those three words change the entire meaning of the sentence.

I know a few retired cops. Most still carry Glocks.
Even though a lot of older guys have 1911's, Sigs, H&K's, S&W, etc.
          They carry Glocks.
I think the light weight, simplicity/dependability and capacity have as much to do with it as anything. And yes, in the early 90's Glocks were being issued over Sigs and HK's due to price. For many orgs it replaced wheel guns. Smith's were issued a bit but in the end faded out.
Feds got 226's & 229's. A few 228's. Now a lot of them have gone to Glocks. But I think they still have higer end options.

Anyone notice three of the 15 most recent threads in the Handgun Forum are about members' issues with their Glocks? Just an observation.

In other news some Glock's don't like 115gr or some Reman ammo.

I shoot a lot of pistols.
I own a lot of pistols, many different makes.
                    They all work.

Not as accurate as my P226, but it's reliability is truly legendary. I got a gen 4 G17 and that is a nice gun. Enjoy the improvements. Very close to the P226 in groupings. For the price, you get an ugly reliable pistol that always goes bang. Light weight and holds enough rounds, I CCW my 17 along with my G26 and G30s, yes I like Glocks. I also like Sig, Colt and HK. I carry Glock. My P226 MK25 is just too heavy.

Guns are like cars. 426 hemi vs 428 cobra jet vs 427 Yenko. Hemi always loses! The same old argument..."taste great...no less filling"..bla..bla..bla...shoot what you like. That being said..why does the FBI issue G23 and G19s to new agents (to the glock haters)?
                          Fixed that for you.

S&W M&Ps are better than Glocks. Flame on.

That's because they hate you and don't want to deal with owners asking for warranty work.
