Exactly, the best in its class. I haven't met one person who has owned a glock who regretted it. I think everyone can agree on that statement as well.

Hi there. You have now met one. I have a G 21c I regret. Hate the bloody thing. Like wielding a cinder block. Need to sell it one of these days.

Yes, sir, perhaps you are correct. Shoulda, woulda, coulda. However you stated you have never met anyone who regretted getting a Glock, You have now met two. Over broad statements are often fraught with peril.

Have you two ever actually"met?" Hearing something online, is not the same as meeting someone.

                    Yup.

No love for them myself but I do have one just for the reason above.

LOL. A wee bit legalistic. However, though your statement might be true for most of the 20th century, there are countless millions who would disagree with you in the 21st.

Or in the words of Bill Clinton, "it depends on what your definition of "is" is.

To state because one has never personally and physically met someone who regretted buying a Glock, ergo no one has ever regretted buying a Glock is a failure in logic.

A lot of people who bought a VP9 have since sold their Glocks.

Never had a problem with my PPQ's. M1 or M2 and never caught any brass between the eyes either.

Now, don't get me wrong. I like Glocks (except the aforementioned 21c, hate it). I have a bunch of them. Some stock (pretty much) others tricked out. My home defense weapons for mountain lion and whatever else are a Glock 20sf with a light and an 870.

Now this is the very truth. I tend to be a CZ and lately an STI guy but tonight I took out a couple of Glocks. Needed to sight in the optic on a Carver Custom. That shot fine. But the G17 gave me lots of trouble, trigger kept failing to reset.

Does this mean Glocks suck? No, but they are by no means the end all of one's quest for the perfect firearm. They can be as fallible as anything else.

May my dogs be struck dead if the above is not the truth. Also any hints on what I should do about the trigger would be appreciated. Seriously.

Now Jonzer will lead us in a reflective rendition of Kumbaya. Hit it, Jonzer!

So exactly how many different handguns do you own, or have even shot extensively (more than a few hundred rounds) to reach this conclusion? I as well as other's I'm sure would interested to know your expertise to make and back up that statement.
