Bulk ammo is not counted, it's weighed. Every bulk ad I've seen says "+/- 10 rounds".

Might be OCD but it is medicated.
I can tell becuase the cartidges are not all pointing in the same direction.
The rows are not squared off and properly aligned.
Also the rows are not lined up with the carpet pattern.
The ammo box is also not properly aligned with the rows of ammo and not evenly centered on the middle grouping, military alignment is off.
The ammo box is not closed but allowed to rest haphazardly and handle not evenly stowed.
The furniture is not square with the rugs and the rugs themselves are off kilter.
The brass also looks to have various color tones which should be sorted into rows of like colors, like one does with M & M's.

Yeah if OP is OCD, he's medicated

You keep saying your not mad and it's just one round, but at this Point just let it go and move on. Obviously they don't care one bit about you trying to give them the heads up on one missing round. If you don't want to order from them because of this that's your right as the customer, just my two cents.

It's bulk ammo. Get over it. It is by weight. If it bugs you buy box ammo by the case. If you buy foreign brands get over it, They short everything.
SGAmmo is decent and they didn't gouge when everyone else did. They just sold out fast.

I've bought plenty of bulk (loose) ammo from PSA, they state it's measured by weight & expect +- 1%. The last 600 rd can of 5.56 I bought was 2 short. No problem. I've shopped at SG for maybe 3 years, never had an issue & I wouldn't gripe over 1 round. I will agree if Sam made crappy comments, I wouldn't like it either. My recent expression "Rude is the new polite" I'll never understand it, guess I don't have to.

I know stuff happens and perhaps the response was not warranted, but I for one will still buy from SG. They keep prices low even though everyone else has made a killing off of this buying frenzy bull crap. Just my 2 cents.

Should I cross SGAmmo off the list too? The list of dissatisfied CGers and their experiences with gun stores, gun ranges, and gun related vendors, and all the perceived slights makes us sound like a bunch of spoiled toddlers.

SG is among the best of online ammo vendors. And this post doesn't change a thing.

I'd try raking your carpet where you did your sorting and it will probably be in there somewhere, meanwhile I'll dig through the discarded packaging in dumpster and landfill to see if it got thrown out by accident and I'll go give a pissed off lecture the warehouse guys who did the packaging with the same negativity that you are giving me over a single 38 cent round of ammo. It all makes a lot of sense right? Don't worry I will close your account for you and you can post this email all over the web all you like.
                              This is pretty unprofessional.

Doc Hawk: You might want to consider getting ammo from freedommunitions.com or gandermountain.com (free shipping for orders over $50) instead.

I agree. SG has often had excellent prices on their full cases of ammo. Ship quick, no issues. Best deal on the internet.

When my two sons were boys they went through a phase of fierce jealousy over portion sizes. "Hey, no fair his pie is bigger than mine!" I tried making one boy cut the portions and then allow the other to choose. Conflict was unavoidable. Things got way out of proportion, too much of our lives was spent obsessed with making sure it was fair down to %0.01.

                                They grew out of it.
