Yeah, carpet stain. That's a real plot twist. If that is what passes as exciting for you, I'd hate to see your version of boring.
I started out this whole thing by writing him:
---
Hello,
This order only arrived with 499 out of 500 rounds of 45 ACP (see photo - I was breaking the rounds out into bags of 50). I feel somewhat embarrassed for mentioning it, but it's the principle of it, and also some customers may be offended.
Thanks and God Bless
That's when he said check my math 'cause it's impossible. I wrote back to look at the photo and described my count. I said "What was shipped to me in the box is exactly what went onto the floor. Perhaps you missed the box with a round when you dumped one of the cases. Where initially I was not offended after a single round, now I am after your dismissive response."
He declined to reply.
So I wrote him and said:
If you had responded to the very first email with, "Oh, sorry - thanks for letting us know!" even without any offer of compensation, I would have considered the matter closed since it is merely one round of .45 ACP. I even said as much in my first email - that I was just letting you know since others might overreact.
However, since you have technically failed to deliver product I paid for, then blamed me for it and subsequently ignored me, I have now posted this photo on various Internet forums and websites letting the world know about your fraudulent bulk shipments and dismissive lack of customer service.
He replied:
Thanks, I love free advertising, If you want your 38 cents back it wouldn't be a problem, it seems absolutely absurd in the first place to me to make issue of this regardless of where the missing round is now. I'd try raking your carpet where you did your sorting and it will probably be in there somewhere, meanwhile I'll dig through the discarded packaging in dumpster and landfill to see if it got thrown out by accident and I'll go give a pissed off lecture the warehouse guys who did the packaging with the same negativity that you are giving me over a single 38 cent round of ammo. It all makes a lot of sense right? Don't worry I will close your account for you and you can post this email all over the web all you like.
So, to paraphrase SGAmmo: We may or may not ship you what you pay for. If you didn't get what you paid for, you are absolutely absurd for making an issue of it. We will also take five minutes to make up long stories about negativity spreading through our workplace instead of taking five seconds to say sorry.
