How many guns to the range?

One to four. Quality over quantity. There is usually a rifle I need to get to know better.

A couple of times I forgot the magazine or ammo for one firearm, so I always bring at least two. If I am meeting new shooters, 4-6 firearms and a lot of ammo.

Depends what I am doing. Also if I am taking firearms for others to shoot.
Usually about 8. Sometimes just one for a quick test trip. Other times 20+ for load testing, other people or just some fun shooting.

I used to load the truck up with everything I had. I tried to keep a somewhat equal round count on all of my handguns. After a while it became a hassle. Now I'm more inclined to just take a couple.

Depends on how much time I have & what I wanna accomplish. My .45 was shivering in the corner so I took it & a .22 rifle out earlier. Today it was two.

Max I'll bring is 7 - couple ARs, an AR pistol and 4 pistols. Don't have the luxury of long days at the range with two kids at home not old enough yet to introduce to the joys of shooting.

I bring a couple, at the most. But I usually focus on one thing per range day (long range, handgun, clay, etc)

I mainly shoot precision rifle though, so I could lay behind a single rifle all day for all I know, I never get bored of it.

Usually 2 or 3, but last week it was all of the five I bought in December to function and accuracy test them. Guys looking for Christmas spending cash had some deals that were just too good to pass up.

Two at most if it's just me shooting. If I'm with friends, maybe four or five.

I take wife's Browning 1911-22, my M&P 9 pistols and usually one or two rimfire rifles and at least one of the AR-15s in my safe.

If I take more than two rifles it is because I moved optics around and need to zero them. Frankly, I tend to do that often enough that I am zeroing a couple each trip.

A good example is this week I will finish my daughters b-day build and bought myself a new scope. In doing so I took my RDS and BUIS off my rifle, put the RDS on my .22 bullpup, and BUIS and the RDS from my .22 bullpup on my daughters upper. I now have three rifles to zero next trip to the range.
