How many guns to the range?

I don't do public ranges at all, but when I go shooting I take two rifles at a time.

I always end up wishing I'd brought fewer guns and more ammo.

But when I head out to BLM with a group of friends there is always at least one I wish I'd brought but didn't. You can't win :P

My favorite/most productive shooting outings are when I go to a class or event and just focus on one gun for an entire weekend. Those end up being the only weapons I feel truly competent with.

One sometimes two, but most of the time just one.

This. Can be as many as 3 if my wife goes. But then, I concentrate on fewer rounds shot and more frequent range trips. (Doesn't always work.)

It depends on where I'm going and why I'm going. If it's for specific practice or post repair/mod safety check, it's usually just the one, maybe a second so if the first don't run at all, it isn't a complete waste of a trip.

If it is going out to the open for a day of it, then it's bring a little bit of everything, so anything up to about 7-10 guns with. They usually don't all get shot, but they are there in case they strike my fancy at the time.

I prefer 3 pistols max, but all the same caliber. I don't like to clean too much.

it's only handguns and usually no more then three. cleaning 3or more guns every week is getting freakin old though.

One side arm, and 2 long guns. Keeps the ammo simple.
