How many guns to the range?

Curious how many guns you guys bring to the range on an average trip. I felt that my trip today was "quantity over quality." I think for future visits I'll just bring one or two and focus on them.

What do you guys do?

depends on the match, for USPSA/IDPA/Steel Challenge 2 pistols, for 3 gun 2 rifles, 2 shotguns, 2 pistols, for action steel matches, 1 rimfire rifle, 1 center fire pistol, 1 rimfire pistol.

generally keep it to 3 max if going alone, more if newbies are joining in.

Always bring my carry gun. Its always with me any way. And one more pistol and one rifle. So no more than 3 most of the time most of the time.
I go shooting with my dad most of the time so we trade of with each other.

I used to load the truck up with everything I had. I tried to keep a somewhat equal round count on all of my handguns. After a while it became a hassle. Now I'm more inclined to just take a couple.

Unless I'm introducing new people to a wide variety of firearms or really itching to shoot everything I own (which is a fraction of some of the collections by others on here!), I usually shoot about three or four.

just what i plan to shoot. i think I've brought 5 on a solo trip. but usually 2 or 3

last time was just 1, adjusting a gas block and testing some reloads

I used to take them all, but after a while my collection grew to the point where it just wasn't reasonable to haul around so much stuff, blow away so much ammo, and then have to clean everything.

I still find myself loading more stuff into my truck than I promise myself I intend to take. Old habits die hard.

Depends on how many I want to clean afterwards, so usually 2-4 for a day shoot. Might bring some more for an overnighter or family event but don't do those that often.
