I hate people that are full of hate.
It's not illegal to tip for PPT! -
There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

If Paul is the guy with the moustache and a sort of skinny cowboy look, he's also hard of hearing, as I discovered while chatting with him casually a few times.
On other days, I guess he's hit / miss. Once he chewed us out for shooting too fast. But the thing is, it wasn't us - our target was a 1 hole group. It was the guys next to us who were shooting fast. We tried to explain but he wouldn't have any of it - he claimed he saw us - I really doubt he did as I was watching my friend meticulously and SLOWLY put round after round through 1 hole on the paper.
I've not really been back since then.. Reed's Indoor gets my money now.

Targetmasters is good, if you act nice and follow the rules.
Don't knock Targetmasters. I think that if you are polite, follow the rules and act nicely, people generally return the favor and treat you well. I have done many transfers there, I know most of the guys by name, and I shoot there pretty regularly. I have always had positive experiences there.
I did see a guy kicked out recently for rapid firing (which is clearly against the rules, he should have had more sense). He was giving crap to the rangemasters about it, but he deserved it, he should have exercised a little bit of restraint with the trigger finger.Comment

I've been to Target Masters a couple time and my experience wasn't that bad. They are lacking in customer service and one of my buddies said transferring firearms there is horrible.
I go to San Jose Municiple Firing Range off of 10th street in San Jose. Its a small range with crank driven target lines. The guys who run the place are nice. They give you free targets, let you shoot tennis balls, and its cheap 5 bux an hour. It also fairly quiet there also.Comment

I ve been there 3 times for using the range. These people are Horrible.
By mistake I double tapped............. This asian guy( dont know his name , thats y referring to his ethnicity )
walks upto me and says" if you do that again, you will be kicked out of here".
I am like ( to my self) , if someone was holding a gun in their hand, you would at least wanna be polite! this was a while back. Another time, it was my first time renting a shotgun there, so I loaded it pointed down, instead of it pointing it towards the range and resting it on the "thingy" they have in one of the booths reserved for shotguns. he same guy walks upto me and asks me If I ve shot a shotgun before.( I am like plz......... I used to own HK571 )& then tells me that if I do it again "I will be kicked out". I told him , hey you should ve told me where to put the $300 .00 shotgun before you handed it to me.
I ve been shooting guns since I was a baby..........dont insult me , just tell me what I did wrong and thats it.
Whats messed up is that every time I went there it was at least a party of 3 or more & they made a lot of $$$ off of us.Last edited by kakpataka; 08-09-2008, 1:31 AM.sigpicComment
