A better question is as a glock owner why do you care what other people think? Maybe the people out there that have their "glock hate on" just enjoy getting under the thin skin of the majority of glock owners. For those out there that jump at the first chance to announce to the world that "theirs" is the best, what a boring world we would live in if all we had was only one choice in something. Only one car or truck choice, one handgun choice, ect....

Not a Glock hater...just don't like polymer frames. Don't feel good. Gotta have metal of some sort. I owned an XD for a while...great gun, but didn't like the feel. Sold it and got something else.
Main argument is the typical Chevy vs. Ford vs. Dodge thing...you like something, great. If you don't, then...great.Comment

Why would you buy something you don't like? That's like asking why it seems all the people that aren't into gay sex have never tried it.
I have a Glock that was inherited. It works fine. I don't like it, never have. So what?Comment

I own both a Glock and an XD and XDM, also XD's and XDM's are not "copies" of Glocks.. For one the higher bore axis and grip angle are different.. I like my Glock 22 but I like my XDM better. I shoot with my XDM a lot better than I do my Glock 22. I shoot high with my Glock but dead on with my XDM..Comment

haters are gonna hate, glocks are good guns but some people just don't like polymer guns, the M&P and XD may also be polymer guns but they are not copies, they are completely different especially grip/trigger pull/etc. I had a glock and it was reliable and shot very well, but just couldn't get used to the fat grip on it. it's all personal preference, everyone's hands are different.-Sang

Don't hate glocks, just laugh at all the fanboy/hype that is created around them. 'Cause most law enforcement agencies issue a Glock. There are much better options out there. For one they are ergonomically uncomfortable. Two, I laugh at the reliability argument, very few handguns are actually unreliable. In my limited shooting experience, I've only ran into one handgun that I would consider unreliable. Three they are ugly. Now for the disclaimer, I own one Glock. It gets shot the least amount, and if I had to sell a firearm, it would be the first on the list to go.If you are not outraged you are not paying attention!!!

Perhaps that's why you're better suited in your present employment. You don't understand what it means to provide for the publics safety. You just don't know.Comment

They are ugly as piss. The only way I could convince myself to keep mine was to get it duracoated to look awesome as hell with a digital camo. Compared to my Walther and 1911 it was just horrible.Don't hate glocks, just laugh at all the fanboy/hype that is created around them. 'Cause most law enforcement agencies issue a Glock. Simple question however I think your taking it way out of context. It's not that serious.Originally posted by beccibooWhy make it clear when there is an agency that can make up and enforce their own laws? I think Glocks are crap. I ran a G21 to 125,000 rounds and sheared the barrel locking lug off. Both of my G17s have around 80,000 rounds each, and cracked 3 slides between them at around 40,000 to 60,000 rounds. This doesn't count the little things like the broken trigger reset spring, replacing striker and recoil springs, broke the leaf spring that holds the slide release, one chipped extractor. Glock gave me all new stuff, but now I can't trust them anymore. Sold the crappy G21 to a shooting buddy who put another 125,000 rounds thru it. But I need to run the G17s to at least 150,000 to be absolutely positive they are junk.Comment
