If you want to read about how much the ROK Marines kick ***.

2,400 Vietcong vs 300 ROK Marines and the marines have the balls to launch a counterattack after holding onto a siege. Keep in mind they were armed with WW2 rifles while the VC had mostly AK47s.

If I was on the jury I'd aquit then buy them a box of ammo and a nice bottle of wine.
I think that first sentence was very well stated and I agree.

Which leads to another touchy question...
Would anyone care about what's firearm legal or not if and when situation like this happens?

In a situation like that where the most parasitic sons of #%#@es are looting, raping and robbing, who cares what happens to them. Law abiding citizens have the right to defend their lives and property. F%&* the bad guys!! It's not like the cops are going to show up and save the day.

To clarify, I meant no disrespect for the brave men and women of LAPD in the last post. All I meant was that there aren't nearly enough police to be everywhere at once.

I figured as much. Wasn't sure if anyone would out right say it.
BB comes off, 30rd mag or beta c mag goes on. I think it is justified in these sorts of situations.

Nice, the first video they had barricades in front of the store. Multiple layers, too. Good thinking on their part. They were ready to go, that's for sure.

You might think it is justified, but I guarantee you that you will get your gun confiscated just like as in Katrina. In an AW configuration you have just given them justification to confiscate your gun.

Now, if you keep it indoors, behind shuttered window... of course nobody would know. But you wouldn't be able to go outside without fear of beign disarmed by disorganized and frantic police who would rather take everyone's guns to be on the safe side if at all possible.

That is why you need to keep a flexible toolbox.

In situations like this, ARs with U15 stocks, SU16s, M1As, etc become rather vital.

Or, you could takes your chances.

This will happen again in LA, its a violent melting pot and everyone has their own agenda. I have seen the tension first hand, the melting pot is starting to boil over.

I think I would prefer to have a legally configured weapon in a case like this. With my luck I would be the one on video that the police came looking for after the riots are over.

If they're confiscating guns, they'll be taking everything.

SP-89 was a pistol so no problems there. Now the bag holder attachment on the front might make it an AOW in certain peoples eyes.
