Here is the gun rack for the wall. It's 1 of 3 and should be done next week.

You can see its all steel and has a locking bar.

I love how OP takes the wind outta the sails of all the safety sallies and tommy trolls with the caveats right off the bat, "I know its a public forum", "I know its making me a target"

etc etc I find i have to do that too on the boards I frequent... 'specially here...

I love the idea and nice work!

I knew how all the stack-on safe peeps would come in and say it's not secure enough

It's not like you posted your GPS coordinates, street address and the times you and the family are at work during the day. How are they going to find your house?

Great project and great workmanship. All the haters are just jealous.

Been busy so I haven't had much time to tinker. Got some work done the next 2 nights.

                              First coat on inside

                              Ammo cubby hole done

                              Pistol racks mounted

First of 3 armory racks will be put up tomorrow so I can get 15 rifles mounted

I also lined the door with cedar to help with humidity and a sealed room smell.

To give you an idea about the walls, here you can see it's not just drywall.

Fire retardant drywall was used on all walls plus the outer liner. Also used about 30 cans of this stuff in all walls and door

Imo this room is more secure and fire ready than 99% of safes out there.

                                Very nice. I'm jelly.
Just curious. I noticed that the tile is continuos. How does it look like on the bottom of the door?
If you haven't done so, you might want to consider putting baseboards on the door to mimic a wall and disguise the continuity of the tile.
