Not to hijack your thread, but this old safe door popped up on the public surplus auction page. Thought it may interest someone reading the thread.

That was my thought as well. I think you're going to have competing climates. Wine needs to be stored in a fairly humid environment. Whereas, guns store better when there's little to no moisture in the air. With proper sealing, you can keep the two rooms separate, but every time you open the door to the gun room, everything will get mixed. For what it's worth, I think your guns will suffer more than your wine.

First coat on. Need to do some sanding, smoothing and then trim bit the entrance has already blended in.

Lock is in and keypad mounted in another room. All wired in and it works perfectly.

If I had that much wine, I'd just stack crates of it in front of my safe!

Baboosh, if your going to fill you cellar with "B*tch", "Decoy" and "Wild Horse", you might as well rip the whole thing out and make one large gun room/safe

Just kidding of course, very creative!

How many bottles of wine have you gone through doing this project so far?

I hope you never need to get to your guns in a power outage.

I have about 60 hours into this, she can make the dust disappear
