Yeah I went to the LGS and the stripped lowers were all $300, I swear they were $100-115 like 2 weeks ago. I shouldn't have waited

Sactobill, I was there today with my friend who bought a scar in .308. I couldn't believe that guy bought all of those. By the time my friend got his scar and other stuff it was at least a couple hours, and as my friend was paying that same guy walked up and said "ill take this one too," and put another one on the counter. Couldn't believe this guy haha.

On Monday the 17th, I was at Sacramento Black Rifle and they had Noveske stripped lowers for $174. JD Machine lowers for $99 and a bunch of others including 308 lowers.

          Should have bought some.

            Trevolution,

Hey I was the guy next to you waiting. I bought the Sig 716 Patrol ODG. Your friend is gonna love that SCAR. He picked up the last DPMS 308 lower right?

Yeah he did for $399. He also managed to get a CMMG lower with the LPK for $239. He's been looking for a scar for awhile. We found scar mags at Riverside gun exchange? I think that's the name. Anyways they had that same scar but in black and they were asking $3900. I hope you enjoy that sig, that was a really nice firearm.

How much were the scar mags at River City?

Yeah been wanting a 716 for a while and this is the first ODG I found. Good thing they were cool and not marking up the guns. Lowers were definitely higher in price than last week but that CMMG deal is definitely a good price especially if it includes the lpk.

Well, my buddy is LE, and he got the only two 20 round mags for $65/magazine, which is high, but he had little choice. I had the 10 round mags but I'm not sure what they go for. I guess it's a 20-round mag that's been plugged and riveted. I think it came out to $140 or so for two mags, pretty crazy, but like you said, that's how it goes.

I think the CMMG lower was a fluke because I know it would've been marked up, but he bought it at the last minute so he got lucky. Now you both wait the infamous 10 days, but at least you know it's yours.

$65 per mag for SCAR 17's isn't that bad. I got one for $59 in FDE and was lucky to get that one. This was way before all the panic buying. Even earlier this year, there just weren't 17 mags anywhere.

If you're looking for mags they may still have some. I was actually pretty impressed they had as many ARs as they did. The place was busy which was to be expected, but they weren't cleared out by any means. If I had the funds I would've bought more, but I guess one lower is better than none.

I think that the rest of the country will adopt CA gun laws.

What's more lethal - one rifle with a 30 rd mag or 3 rifles each with 10rd mags?

I was at Turner's the day of the shooting. It was just coincidence the AR I've had my eye on for several months was in their weekly ad, so I decided I was finally going to buy it. The store was busy, but more like normal weekend busy. Even then, I was lucky enough to get one of the last two of that model they had in stock. I'm kind of dreading pick up day because I'm thinking I might be there for hours and parking will be a nightmare.

This week's Turner's ad was the first one I can recall that didn't have an AR or AK in it.
