To be safe, I'd stay away. There is no need to let anyone, friend or not, to know what personal firearms you own. That's just inviting disaster.
I understand the paradigm of social networking sites and see why so many people are attacted to it, but I don't feel any need to be a part of it. I don't want strangers knowing what I look like, my kids look like, what city I live in, where I went to school, etc. All that information compiled together can backfire on me.
