Mine was a Marlin M39A .22 lever action. It was a Christmas present when I was about twelve.

            First Handgun: S&W 5903
First Rifle: Norinco NHM-91 chamber in .223 (basically AK in .223)
            First Shotgun: Benelli M2 Tactical

Sold both the S&W and Norinco before the SB23 ban took effect. Acquire the shotgun much later in life and that remains the only shotgun I have, or plan to have for a long time.

Smith and Wesson model 659. It was heavier than a brick.

When I was eight, my dad gifted me a 1917 Budapest Mannlicher carbine in the original 8x50r. I still have it. That was 1961. And that probably is why I am old school, liking bolt guns.

haha I bet....Reminds me of taking my 91/30 out of my cousins car to store it in his apt in the city.....was covered by a blanket but still felt very strange for those 15 feet on the sidewalk.

Mine was an 1858 New Army Black powder revolver- worth every penny. First cartridge arm was a 91/30 Mosin Nagant. Worth twice every penny. :-)
