My first firearm (after the BB gun) was a 1949 Winchester model 62A pump 22 with exposed hammer...I was 12 when I got it for my birthday...In the 50's I hunted with "sporterized" O3A3's and model 97 Winchester 12 guages. I had a 30 cal Luger (man do I wish I still had that one).

I was at the local Pawn Shop/Gun Store about a year ago and there in the case was a model 62A in about 95% condition...all original and un molested...I snatched it up...it's a 53 so about 4 years newer than my first one was but what the heck...it's the same gun and I just had it out yesterday...cleaning it and remembering my little 22 in my childhood.

Lakefield Arms Mk II, lefty bolt-action. I believe Savage acquired them some time ago. My dad bought it for me as a little boy so I could learn to shoot using my dominant hand. I still have it, and never plan to sell it.

For my first, I bought a Norinco SKS off my landlord. I haven't shot it much in the past few years but I will never sell it.

10/22 I bought on my 18th birthday a few decades ago, sadly sold to a neighbor in the eighties. Great lil' rifle.

First pistol was a bd gift from my dad, Colt Gold Cup NM .45 in the early eighties. Still have it, love it, shoot it.

A 1948 Winchester 62A 22 Gallery Short. It was given to me on my eighth birthday in 1954. Both of my two sons and my grandson learned to shoot with it. Great memories, it is now a safe queen.

First handgun was a Glock 22.

First rifle will be a Mosin-Nagant M1891/30 in early March.

First firearm I purchased was a Mossberg 500. I later purchased a Sigma 40VE since I didn't have enough cash to buy the Glock I wanted. I also didn't know about the trigger pull when I bought it.

Glock 17 when I turned 21...the gun addiction really started to spiral out of control when I started buying rifles and reloading.
