considering that pellet guns are classified as firearms, by the CA penal code, it was a crosman 760.

but my first powder burning firearm, was a J.C. penney 22lr/long/short, bolt action, made by marlin. still have it 38yrs later, and love to go shoot it. the magazines, almost cost as much as the rifle did, originally
That may be a CG first!

Springfield single shot bolt action .22 purchased from the grandson of Don Gennarro Angulo, head of the Boston Mafia back in 1974.

I was 14. Paid $25. Hid it from my parents.

If you haven't seen it with your own eyes,
or heard it with your own ears,
don't make it up with your small mind,
or spread it with your big mouth.

My Dad bought me a Remington 870 Wingmaster 12ga for my 14th Birthday. Still have it today and I'm almost 43 now. Many good Father & Son hunting trips came out of that!

Winchester model 12 feather weight 12 ga. I was 13 and I would walk a mile down the road to go shooting and hunting most of the tme by myself...

A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you may never need one again.

                          Remington 241

But then, as a stupid teenager, I sold it to pay for a 10/22 that I turned tactical with a folding stock, Beeman short scope, flash hider, custom tiger stripe paint job, and a BMF activator before CA made the illegal.

That 10/22 is long gun and 25 years later, I wish I still had the 241.

Ithaca 20 gauge single shot. Bought it myself around 1968 or thereabouts.

Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

A Ruger Security-Six .357. This was so long ago, I don't even remember what happened to that gun.
